About Movimiento Art
At Movimiento Art, we are dedicated to connecting people with the beauty, stories, and traditions of artists from diverse communities. Founded in 2016 by Samuel "Pollo" Sisneros, the organization has grown to a vibrant collection of several artists from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua. Our journeys to Northern Mexico have not only introduced us to exceptional art but to the inspiring creators who have helped shape our vision and mission. By bringing these unique pieces to a wider audience, we provide a bridge that allows this art to transcend mental, physical, and political borders.
Collaboration & Community
We are proud to have collaborated with incredible organizations such as Studio 15 at The Mothership Alumni, and Secret Gallery, where we had a two year collaboration in the historic B. Ruppe Drugstore, located in the heart of the barrio of Barelas, south of Downtown Albuquerque.
